Recent Hoi An Hotel Review: "when we arrived the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The room we got was facing onto a garden/work area and when we expressed our disappointmennt they had no hesitation in upgrading us and moving us to another room at no extra charge - so 5* for customer service. The new room was comfortable and good size. The bathroom was definitiely  usable but was slightly tired and could have done with refitting considering the smartness of the rest of the room. Extra pillows that were in the cupboard did not smell as fresh as the ones on the bed but a quick call to housekeeping would get that sorted out. Wi fi connection was good enough to make clear Skype calls. A nice touch wass the provision of umbrellas in the room that you could use meaning you didn't have to buy one (for $2) in town. Breakfast was provided with the room. Pretty standard buffet with fruit, cereals, juices (slightly watered down I think) vietnamese pancakes, bacon, sausages, eggs, breads and pastries. Location is literally 5 min walk from the old town so brilliant for seeing the sites and also going out to eat in the evening."
