Recent Hoi Pacific Review: "The hotel is closer to the beach than the Ancient Town. But the hotel will always rent out bicycles for free and it takes less than 10 mins to get to the Ancient area. I had a room in the villa area and the room was very, very pleasingly clean. Clean sheets, comfortable beds, very large rooms, hot shower, cable tv, beautiful view of the pool, and even  an electric water pot for that much needed hot cup of tea at the end of the day. (tea bags were available in the room) The breakfast is served at the restaurant on the seventh floor. The food is great - many different types to choose from, from freshly made omelets /eggs, salads, fruits, soups, western fare (bacon, ham, bread), juices, coffee, and tea. The view is quite fantastic. You get an idea of the layout of the city and get a feel for the true "Indochine." Try to get a seat at the outside terrace area - this is where you can enjoy the views most. There was a split between politeness of staff. Some were polite, some were quite grumpy. One of the bell boys tried to sell me his "scooter ride" services but I just ignored it. The hotel recommends a certain tailor, saying they have good quality material and quick services. I compared prices with another for a skirt, and found that the hotel's recommendation was more than double where the other asked for. So I believe there is room for bargaining. All in all, the hotel itself made my stay in Hoi An a most memorable stay."
