Recent Phuoc River Review: "Had a wonderful stay at the Phuoc An River Hotel late this September. The staff was very helpful: they gave us good directions to town, stored our bags for the day after we checked out, did laundry for very reasonable rates and even arranged transportation for us back to the Da Nang airport at the end of our stay (which was much more affordable than  our taxi ride there). Free wireless internet from the restaurant was also a plus! There are some shops and food nearby but it's a little way from the heart of Hoi An but the hotel has a fleet of bikes they lend out for free and are very convenient and pleasant for getting around town in the heat of the day. There is also a shuttle bus to / from town at certain times of the day but I highly recommend the bikes if you want a true Vietnam experience. Room was very clean, with the slight exception of a shower mat that was a bit grubby but otherwise top-notch. We had a view of the farmland nearby and could see water buffalo out the window. On the other side you would have a view of the river. Breakfast was also very good and had a selection of continental items, fruit and made to order hot Vietnamese or Western food, you definitely would not go hungry. Overall, a highly recommended place to stay in Hoi An!"
