Hotellets helhet var bra. Mycket hjälpsam personal som kunde bra engelska, bra service, bästa frukosten vi hade under tre veckor i Vietnam. Litet gym och pool men helt klart dugligt. Hotellet ligger ungefär mittemellan stranden och Hoi An centrum (gamla staden). Det är för långt att gå men hotellet hyr ut cyklar gratis och fyra gånger om dagen går en  shuttlebus fram och tillbaka från hotellet till staden. Vi åkte dock taxi för det mesta då tiderna med bussen ofta inte passade och cyklarna inte var i det bästa skicket. Bra värde för pengarna även om hotellet var en aning slitet.

We really enjoyed our stay in Phuoc An River Hotel. Their travel service was excellent, we got day trips and train tickets to Ninh Binh booked with no trouble at all. It's 1km from the beautiful Dua Cai beach and 4km from Hoi An old town. They give bikes free of charge, which we used fot our beach trips and taxi to town cost only 50.000-60.000 dong.  The staff was really friendly and helpful. The hotel has everything from pool to spa to beautysalon to restaurant, bar and a small gym, all in one compact package. Room views to the river and surrounding countryside were absolutely breath taking. The only minus was that breakfast was only until 9.30am.

The hotel is located next to the beach (about 5 minutes by bike - free service) and the surrounding is beautiful. To town centre you can also go by bike in about 15 minutes or with free shuttle bus from the hotel. Very nice and clean rooms. Breakfast buffet is served on the roof terrace.

Very nice place to stay by the river. Staff were good. Room was clean and comfortable. The only problem for us really was that it was a fair distance from the old city of Hoi An. They did have a free bus ride into the old town but their times were not always convenient to our needs. In the heat and humidity it really was too far for walking!

Had a wonderful stay at the Phuoc An River Hotel late this September. The staff was very helpful: they gave us good directions to town, stored our bags for the day after we checked out, did laundry for very reasonable rates and even arranged transportation for us back to the Da Nang airport at the end of our stay (which was much more affordable than  our taxi ride there). Free wireless internet from the restaurant was also a plus! There are some shops and food nearby but it's a little way from the heart of Hoi An but the hotel has a fleet of bikes they lend out for free and are very convenient and pleasant for getting around town in the heat of the day. There is also a shuttle bus to / from town at certain times of the day but I highly recommend the bikes if you want a true Vietnam experience. Room was very clean, with the slight exception of a shower mat that was a bit grubby but otherwise top-notch. We had a view of the farmland nearby and could see water buffalo out the window. On the other side you would have a view of the river. Breakfast was also very good and had a selection of continental items, fruit and made to order hot Vietnamese or Western food, you definitely would not go hungry. Overall, a highly recommended place to stay in Hoi An!

Great service and very helpful staff. Extended stay and onward travel plans were taken care on by the hotel. Would recommend and would happily stay there again.

If you are looking for 5 star luxury this is not the place but if you're in search of a quality hotel with excellent service you've found it. Nice location...close to the beach and with free bikes provided by the hotel Hoi An is only 10 minutes away.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Phouc An River. We were upgraded on arrival and had a lovely room looking out over the river. The rooms are decorated to a very high standard and are very clean. The hotel has good facilities, and the breakfast was good with plenty of choice. The hotel is about 2km out of the town centre but the hotel hires bicycles for free. Overall a very enjoyable stay.
